Protospace is a volunteer-run, non-profit makerspace in Calgary, Alberta. We bring together

artists, builders, hackers, engineers, and curious people who want to learn, make things, and
|
||||
share what they know.

<h2>A place to make things</h2>

||||

||||

Our 6,500-square-foot space includes dedicated areas for woodworking, metalworking, sewing,
|
||||
electronics, laser cutting, 3D printing, machining, welding, and larger projects. Members
|
||||
can use shared tools and workspaces around the clock, with training available for equipment
|
||||
that requires an orientation.

Protospace has no owners, employees, or shareholders. The space is run by its members,

||||
who volunteer their time to maintain equipment, teach classes, organize events, and keep
|
||||
the community welcoming. Beginners and experienced makers are equally welcome.
